Abstract

A method of defining a Session and Service Continuity (SSC) mode of attention (AT) commands to support 5G Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session operation and a mobile terminal are presented. The AT commandmay be a notification of an unsolicited result code + CGEV: NW PDN DEACT, + CGEV: NW MODIFY, or + CGEV: ME PDN ACT, or a configuration command + CGDCONT with additional 5G parameters. Additional 5G parameters include SSC, old CID, change reasons, and PDU lifecycle, with the purpose of communicating information about PDU session anchor location requests. According to the method for defining the attention command to support the session and service continuity mode of the 5G protocol data unit session operation and the mobile terminal provided by the invention, the defect that a new 5G function including an SSC mode 2 and an SSC mode 3 of the 5GPDU session operation is not supported in the prior art and related technical specifications can be overcome.
