Abstract

The invention provides a telomerase activity detection kit, and further provides a method for detecting the telomerase activity of a sample by using the detection kit. The telomerase activity detection kit comprises a telomerase extension system component, a magnetic bead system component and a signal generation system of a signal enzyme and a substrate. According to the detection kit and the detection method, a triple-mode system for visual and portable detection of the telomerase activity based on a magnetic bead-enzyme system is achieved, and the advantages of magnetic bead magnetic separation and enzymatic reaction signal amplification are combined. Two different enzymes including glucosidic bond hydrolase and phosphate ester bond hydrolase and three corresponding different enzyme substrates can be used for simultaneously carrying out parallel detection on the same sample by three different detection principle-based methods including a fluorescence detection method, a colorimetricdetection method and an ATP detection method, so that a false positive result and a false negative result can be avoided, the detection result is more credible, and the detection kit and detection method can be used for rapid determination of the telomerase activity and determination of single cell level.
