The invention provides a method for synchronizing traffic device information to local equipment. The method comprises the following steps of determining a first moment when the local equipment triggers a first operation and a second moment when the local equipment triggers a second operation, and setting a preset time interval between the first moment and the second moment; acquiring the first information based on a data packet received from the traffic device and associated with a first operation of the local device; and adjusting the second moment based on the first information. The invention further provides a system for synchronizing the traffic device information to the local equipment. According to the method provided by the invention, errors caused by signal delay can be avoided, and influences brought by respective oscillator deviations of the traffic device and the local equipment can also be overcome; precision of synchronizing the traffic device information to the local equipment is improved, and the user experience is further optimized.
