The invention discloses a retrieval filtering threshold selection method oriented to cloud environment ciphertext retrieval efficiency optimization, which comprises the following steps of: in a firststage, constructing a keyword block: calculating a single-keyword single-document relevancy score of each document and each keyword by utilizing a relevancy quantification method between keywords; performing descending sort on the relevancy scores, and performing equivalent division to generate a global block table and a corresponding lower boundary array; constructing a corresponding keyword block table for each keyword by utilizing the global block table and the lower boundary array information; in the second stage, determining a retrieval filtering threshold value is determined, wherein when ciphertext retrieval is executed, the retrieval filtering threshold value is calculated and determined according to the retrieval keywords and the keyword block table information corresponding to the retrieval keywords.
