The vehicle-mounted sound system comprises a power amplifier used for driving a loudspeaker electrically connected with the power amplifier; a control module which is used for controlling the power amplifier and is provided with an output port and an input port; an open circuit detection circuit which is provided with a first connecting end and a second connecting end which are electrically connected with two groups of leads of the loudspeaker respectively, wherein the open circuit detection circuit further comprises a switching circuit, and the switching circuit is connected between the output port of the control module and the first connecting end so as to be controlled by a control signal from the output port to connect or disconnect the output port and the first connecting end. The input port and the second connecting end of the control module are electrically connected to a node, and voltage is connected to the node; and the control module is used for enabling the open circuit detection circuit through the output port to judge whether the loudspeaker is open according to the signal received by the input port.
