Abstract

A touching detection device (1) comprises: a detector (10) having a touched part (11) with a touching surface (11a, 11b) that is touched by a subject, a support part (13) for supporting the touched part (11), and a part (19) for detection; a sensor (S) for detecting the part (19) for detection; and a body (2) for holding the detector (10) and sensor (S). The support part (13) is held in the body (2) so as to be capable of swinging in a direction in which the subject will touch the touching surface (11a, 11b) of the touched part (11). The part (19) for detection is displaced according to the amount of swinging of the support part (13). When the part (19) for detection has been displaced by a preset displacement amount, the sensor (S) detects the part (19) for detection and outputs a detection signal. Additionally, the support part (13) supports the touched part (11) via an angle adjustment mechanism (15) that is capable of adjusting the angle of the touching surface (11a, 11b) in the swinging direction of the support part (13).
