An RRM measurement method and apparatus, a storage medium, a UE, and a base station. The method comprises the steps that if it is determined that RRM measurement needs to be executed, starting RRM measurement using initial data transmission gap configuration, and starting a timer; when the timing duration of the first timer reaches a first preset duration and the number of the current data transmission gaps in the first preset duration is smaller than a preset value, the used data transmission gap configuration is adjusted; performing RRM measurement using the adjusted data transmission gap configuration; wherein the current data transmission gap is determined by the used data transmission gap configuration. Therefore, when the UE needs to execute the RRM measurement, the UE can have sufficient transmission gaps to complete the measurement activity.
