Embodiment Construction

[0013] Systems and methods for a multi-platform software bus are provided. In one example, the software bus may be a general purpose multi-platform software communication bus (also known as Distributed Component Interconnect Framework or DCIF). DCIF allows communication between networks of systems such as figure 1 shown. An example of a network where DCIF can be applied is at figure 2 and image 3 shown in . Such as Figure 4 The depicted architecture of DCIF may allow DCIF to utilize model-driven development for higher levels of abstraction. A method for implementing DCIF in a communication control system is in Figure 5 Depicted in , the figure shows the process implemented by DCIF. The approach described in this article represents an example of a strategy for building secure multilingual distributed applications and services. While the example architecture shown herein is described, various alternatives may be used, such as indicated herein.

Abstract

Methods and systems are provided for a device of a communication control system. In one example, the apparatus includes a Distributed Component Interconnect Framework (DCIF) configured to enable communications between different software modules of a communications network based on already existing code. The DCIF allows simultaneous communication between a plurality of transport protocols.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to a communication bus for various applications such as audio, video, automotive, etc. Background technique [0002] A software bus may be used to facilitate connection and communication between software modules. The software bus may operate as a communication bridge within, for example, a vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU), operating system (OS), or computing process. Thus, the software bus enables seamless integration of information and execution of software modules for systems such as audio systems, video systems, vehicle systems, and the like. [0003] However, a software bus can be a single transport protocol for a single system. Therefore, applying a software bus on a network may require writing additional code for each type of transport protocol in the network and when adding new clients. In order to efficiently bridge the various software modules of the network, each bridge software component may be hand-c...
