[0013] Systems and methods for a multi-platform software bus are provided. In one example, the software bus may be a general purpose multi-platform software communication bus (also known as Distributed Component Interconnect Framework or DCIF). DCIF allows communication between networks of systems such as figure 1 shown. An example of a network where DCIF can be applied is at figure 2 and image 3 shown in . Such as Figure 4 The depicted architecture of DCIF may allow DCIF to utilize model-driven development for higher levels of abstraction. A method for implementing DCIF in a communication control system is in Figure 5 Depicted in , the figure shows the process implemented by DCIF. The approach described in this article represents an example of a strategy for building secure multilingual distributed applications and services. While the example architecture shown herein is described, various alternatives may be used, such as indicated herein.
