The method comprises the following steps: a first terminal sends a first message to a first network device, wherein the first message is used for requesting to convert a second terminal from a non-direct connection path for communicating with the first network device through the first terminal to a direct connection path for communicating with the first network device or the second network device; or the first message is used for requesting to release the link between the first terminal and the second terminal; wherein the first network device is different from the second network device; and the first terminal releases a link between the first terminal and the second terminal.
