Embodiment Construction
[0025] A junction box assembly includes an upper casing, a lower casing, a connector assembly, and a bolt. The upper housing includes bolt supports. The bolt support is a cylindrical member having a top surface and a through hole. The lower case includes a bottom through hole. The connector assembly further includes a threaded hole. Bolts with threaded ends are provided in the through holes of the upper casing and the bottom through holes of the lower casing. The bolts are threadedly engaged with threaded holes of the connector assembly to secure the upper housing, lower housing and connector assembly together.
[0026] The top surface of the bolt support includes a plurality of holes. These holes provide tolerance for expansion due to heat generated by the power drill, thus preventing deformation of the outer dimensions of the bolt support in order to maintain contact between the upper housing, lower housing, connector assembly and bolts tight connection.
