Abstract

A method for processing at least one event in an application system based on Web technology is disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a request and activating a sub-window for the request in the main window; assigning an identifier to the request, setting a time interval, specifying a result storage unit and dispatching a service program according to the assigned identifier; processing with the service program The request; storing the processing result in the specified result storage unit; polling whether the processing result arrives at the time interval; and displaying the processing result. This method processes two or more requests in parallel by considering the restrictive relationship between them. This method can also send the request to the backend application server and monitor the reply from the backend. In addition to displaying the processing results, the method can also display the processing status in real time.
