Embodiment 1
[0048] 100 kg of waste from restaurants were soaked in frying oil at about 105° C. for 120 minutes to obtain 20 kg of dry waste with a moisture content of 7%. 7 kg of sterilized plant debris was added thereto to adjust the water content to 36%. Then it was added to 100 kg of sake koji, and mixed well. Heat is generated once mixing begins. This heat is controlled by aerating as needed to obtain the proper temperature (30-50°C). Two to three hours after the addition of koji, the growth of koji mold reached its peak and the temperature of the mixture rose to 45°C. Production of sake koji is further continued, and hot air is passed through a steam heater in order to improve drying efficiency in the second half of the production process of sake koji. As a result, a fermented product (feed) having a water content of 10% was obtained 24 hours after adding to sake koji. No foul odor was emitted during the whole procedure.
Embodiment 2
[0050] 100 kg of waste from restaurants were sterilized by soaking in frying oil at about 105°C for 10 minutes. It was added to 600 kg of wheat bran sake koji with a water content of 15%, and stirred to make the water content 25%. After 30 minutes, the fermentation heat energy from Aspergillus koji began to become strong, and aeration was performed depending on the situation to keep the product temperature at 40° C. After 24 hours of koji production, 615 kg of koji feed composition with a water content of 15% was obtained. This treatment continued for 1 month, and 650 kg of sake koji with a water content of 15% was obtained after 1 month. There was absolutely no malodorous odor emitted during the treatment, nor any contamination from interfering microorganisms.
Embodiment 3
[0052] The feed composition of the present invention was mixed with a conventional standard feed composition in an amount of 15% and used to feed Berkshire pigs compared to Berkshire pigs fed only the standard feed composition. Pigs fed the feed composition of the invention had increased body weights over those fed the conventional feed composition.
