Abstract

Calcium oxide is used as the retardant for the dioxin producing process. Crushed and dried calcium oxide is set in the tail gas exhauster of incinerator, and under the temperature of 220-500 deg.c, calcium oxide is reacted with precursor of dioxin in cooling waste gas to retard the generation of dioxin and reduce the amount of exhausted dioxin. The reactor may be installed inside the waste gas treater for incinerator, so that the tail gas entering the reactor via pipeline reacts with calcium oxide. In the same time, calcium oxide can also absorb partial acid gas to reduce relevant exhausted pollutant. The reused calcium oxide may be used as material for producing cement.
