Impact analysis provides the ability to determine which objects a particular object depends on or uses, and which objects depend on or use a particular object. The term "object", for example, may refer to tasks and / or object types. Impact analysis is important in improving user productivity in large, complex documents because it helps determine how and where an object is used by other objects in the system, potentially saving a lot of manual labor.
