Abstract

The present invention provides an apparatus and method for efficient guaranteed transmission variation for the same broadcast signal transmitted from at least two base stations (BS). A radio network controller (RNC) considers a radio channel state of a mobile station (MS), and transmits information to a plurality of BSs located in a cell configured by three sectors for performing mutation. Each BS is equipped with at least two transmit antennas.
