Problems solved by technology

[0008] However, if the height difference or the distance between the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger is large, the prior art air conditioning system cannot provide sufficient oil supply speed to the compressor due to poor oil recovery speed, thereby It is easy to cause damage to the compressor, so it is necessary to develop an air conditioning system that can solve the problem

Abstract

The present invention relates to an air conditioning system and a control method thereof capable of optimally controlling the flow rate of refrigerant flowing to a heat exchanger exchanging heat with indoor air. The air conditioning system includes: an outdoor heat exchange part, including: a compressor for compressing refrigerant; an outdoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and outdoor air; and an expansion device for expanding the refrigerant; an exchanging section comprising: a pump for making the refrigerant flow in a flow path other than the outdoor heat exchanging section; at least one indoor heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the refrigerant and indoor air; and a flow rate control device for controlling refrigerant flow rate; and a mixing heat exchanging part for exchanging heat between the outdoor heat exchanging part and the indoor heat exchanging part which are independent of each other. As long as the power of the pump allows, the air conditioning system can be installed in multi-storey buildings regardless of building height; it can also be applied to systems with longer refrigerant pipelines, and can precisely control the indoor air temperature.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of Korean Application No. P2004-96315 filed on November 23, 2004, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein. technical field [0003] The present invention relates to an air conditioning system, and more particularly, to an air conditioning system capable of optimally controlling a flow rate of a refrigerant flowing to a heat exchanger exchanging heat with indoor air and a control method thereof. Background technique [0004] Typically, an air conditioning system cools or heats a room by compressing, condensing, expanding, and evaporating a refrigerant. Generally, an air conditioning system is equipped with a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, an expansion device, and an outdoor heat exchanger. [0005] In the air conditioning system there are: a refrigeration system in which the refrigeration cycle is performed in only one dir...
