Problems solved by technology

[0008] Especially in the case where the sequence of queries issued by the system is not predetermined but the flow of the dialogue can be determined based on, for example, the content entered by the user, the description in the dialogue scene will become extremely complicated, which means an increase in development costs

Embodiment 1

[0040] Next, a basic embodiment of the dialog system of the present invention will be explained. figure 1 is a block diagram schematically showing the structure of the dialogue system according to the present embodiment.

[0041] Such as figure 1 As shown, the dialog system of the present embodiment includes: a dialog scene storage unit 101; a state management unit 102; a current state storage unit 103; a processing execution unit 104; an input unit 105; an output unit 106; a processing unit 108; a re-input acceptable state storage unit 109; and a unit 110 that stores a recognition candidate set for re-input (hereinafter referred to as "re-input recognition candidate set storage unit 110").

[0042] This dialog system is constructed using a computer, and the state management unit 102, processing execution unit 104, and recognition processing unit 108 are functional blocks realized by causing a processor of a computer to execute a predetermined program. That is to say, these ...

Embodiment 2

[0051] Another embodiment of the dialog system according to the present invention will be described below. figure 2is a block diagram schematically showing the structure of the dialogue system according to this embodiment. It should be noted here that the same reference numerals denote elements having the same functions as those in the structure described in Embodiment 1, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0052] Such as figure 2 As shown, in addition to the structure of the dialog system in Embodiment 1, the dialog system of this embodiment also includes a re-input judging unit 111 . The re-input judging unit 111 has a function of determining which recognition result is given priority when a recognition result is obtained from the recognition candidate set assigned to the current state and the recognition candidate set assigned to the previous state.

[0053] Where recognition results are obtained from a set of recognition candidates assigned to the curre...

Embodiment 3

[0065] Another embodiment of the dialog system according to the present invention will be described below. Figure 8 is a block diagram schematically showing the structure of the dialog system according to this embodiment. It should be noted here that the same reference numerals denote elements having the same functions as those in the structures described in the above embodiments, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0066] Such as Figure 8 As shown, in addition to including the structure of the dialog system according to Embodiment 2, the dialog system of this embodiment also includes a unit 112 for converting a re-input recognition candidate set (hereinafter referred to as "re-input recognition candidate set conversion unit") 112") and re-enter the verification state generation unit 113. The re-input recognition candidate set transformation unit 112 transforms the recognition candidate set assigned to the previous state into a recognition candidate set tha...

Abstract

A dialog system is provided that enables appropriate processing of reinput by a user without describing a dialog scenario on the assumption of reinput by the user. The dialog system includes a reinput acceptable state storage unit that stores a state prior to transition and a reinput recognition candidates set storage unit that stores a recognition candidates set assigned to the state prior to the transition. At the time of a user's input, both of the recognition candidates set associated with that state and the recognition candidates set stored in the reinput recognition candidates set storage unit are referred to so as to determine a recognition candidate. In the case where the determined recognition candidate is a recognition candidate described in the recognition candidates set stored in the reinput recognition candidates set storage unit, the state stored in the reinput acceptable state storage unit is determined as the state to be changed.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a dialogue system capable of state transition according to user responses to queries from the system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a dialog system capable of accepting re-input of past states. Background technique [0002] As a conventionally known dialog system, there is a dialog system that realizes a dialog between a user and a system by using, for example, a voice recognition module as means for accepting user input. Such dialogue systems have been applied to information providing systems such as voice portals, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems for call center services, and vehicle navigation systems, among others. [0003] In a traditional dialogue system, the dialogue between the system and the user is realized by processing the dialogue scene, wherein the dialogue scene contains the description of the dialogue process. Typically, dialog scenarios are represented by a state transiti...
