The invention relates to a sports apparatus for throwing and receiving a ball. The sports apparatus consists of a handle, an open type ball-hitting frame with a basket being equipped at its rear. The handle and the ball-hitting frame are rigidly connected, characterized in that at least two guide rails, which are approximately parallel with the handle, are equipped on the ball-hitting frame. The above mentioned guide rails extend from the basket along to the edge of the ball-hitting frame. The beneficial effect of the invention: guide rails are mounted on the ball-hitting frame. The motion mode of the ball-hitting frame is controlled via the handle at the time of throwing the ball. The angle at which the two guide rails contact with the ball and the strength is controlled. As a result, the ball can move in a rotating way and starts flying from various angles. Thus a ball thrown in such a manner may be more variable.
