Benefits of technology

"The patent describes a new vehicle and structure shield that can protect vehicles and structures from threats like RPGs. The shield features a flexible net with rods or hard points that can impact the threat. The hard points are attached to a frame and can be easily installed and removed. The frame is attached to the vehicle or structure using hook and loop fasteners. The hard points are designed to dud the threat, allowing the net to protect the vehicle or structure. The invention is lightweight, easy to install, and has a low vehicle signature."

Problems solved by technology

No known prior art, however, discloses a net supporting a spaced array of hard points at a set off distance from a vehicle or a structure wherein the hard points are designed to dig into the nose cone of an RPG and dud it.
