Assisting in the healing process can produce an improved outcome and in some cases can eliminate or reduce variability with the healing process. The combined therapeutic process of treating tissue and assisting the ensuing healing process can produce a consistent skin tightening procedure and improve the outcome of the procedure. The methods, procedures, kits, and devices described herein can also provide temporary simulated results of a cosmetic procedure to allow for visual assessment to select the type of procedure or for treatment planning in advance of the surgical procedure.
