4 results about "Electric Charge Unit" patented technology

The unit for measuring electric charge is the coulomb (C), named after Charles-Augustin Coulomb, an 18th-century French physicist. Coulomb developed the law that says "like charges repel; unlike charges attract.".

Electric battery for a vehicle

The invention relates to an electric battery (1) comprising: a plurality of electric charge cells (2), each cell having end faces (21, 22) that are located on opposite sides of the cell, each end face being provided with a contact terminal (23); at least one first printed circuit board (41) arranged in line with the end faces that are located at one of the sides of the cells, the printed circuit board being provided with a plurality of first electrical connection elements (43), each of the first electrical connection elements being located facing one of the contact terminals of the cells; characterized in that the first printed circuit board comprises a main portion (44) in which a plurality of slots (45) are formed, each slot defining a tab (46) that is elastically deformable with respect to the main portion, each first electrical connection element being arranged on one of the tabs of the first printed circuit board.

Per period tracking of renewable energy storage and discharge

PendingUS20260254255A1Electric Charge UnitEnvironmental engineering
An indication of a target amount or percentage of renewable energy to be discharged per period from an energy storage device is received and stored. For each period in which energy is discharged from the energy storage device, electrical charge records reflecting a renewable or nonrenewable status of each slice or other tracked unit of charge stored in the energy storage device to discharge the target amount or percentage of renewable energy are used.

Active energy balancing of energy storage systems

The systems, methods, and circuits described herein provide energy transfer to balance the batteries of an energy storage system. A system may include circuitry connected to a first battery cell and a second battery cell. The circuitry may include a charge cell for transferring energy stored between the first and second battery cells, a first node of the charge cell connected to the first and second battery cells, and a second node of the charge cell connected to a first transistor and a second transistor. At least one of the first and second transistors may control a first transfer of energy from the first of the first and second battery cells to the charge cell, and control a second transfer of energy from the charge cell to the remaining one of the first and second battery cells.
