Abstract

The invention provided an imaging device in which a prism made of a hardly adhesive resin is surely fixed to the prescribed position of a casing. The imaging device 10A is provided with the casing 20 and a prism unit 21 stored in the casing 20. The prism unit 21 is provided with a prism 31 made of difficult-to-adhere resin such as norbornane resin or the like. The prism 31 is fixed to the prescribed position of the casing 20 by adhesive 81 supplied to both side surfaces 53 which are non-optically functioning surfaces. On the both side surfaces 53 of the prism 31, projecting parts 57 which function as peeling preventing means are formed. The adhesive 81 is applied over opening sections 80 formed on the casing 20 and the projection parts 57 of the prism 31.
