Embodiment Construction

[0015] These figures show a bus bar 11 for power distribution and a connector block 12 interacting therewith.

[0016] The busbar 11 comprises a wireway or profile 13 and a set of electrical conductors 14 enclosed in an insulating sheath 15 and insertable into the wireway or profile in a longitudinal direction such as the direction of arrow F in FIG. 2 . One or more notches or windows 16 each for a connector block 12 are provided along the wireway 13 - along at least one of its walls (FIG. 1).

[0017] The connector block includes a base body 17 and a moving plate 18 disposed on opposite sides of the electrical conductor 14 and interacting therewith. The base body 17 is connected to the insulating sheath in the vicinity of the exposed portion 14' of the electrical conductor 14, for example by a pair of fork-shaped hooks 19 with their hooks facing in opposite directions. The mobile plate 18 is substantially parallel to the plane containing the electrical conductors and has soc...

Abstract

The invention concerns a conductor block for current distribution busbar systems which can be inserted into a trunk or profile together with the electric conductors. It includes a moving plate (18) with alveoli for the pins of an electric plug, which is associated with the base body (17) with the possibility of limited movement in the direction of its length and in a direction perpendicular to the plane containing the electric conductors. In this way, the plate can take on a lowered position so as to insert and slide the block in the trunk and a raised position to insert and block it in an indent or window of the trunk or profile.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a current distribution pipeline, in particular to a connector plug block for a bus electric lighting system. Background technique [0002] An electrical distribution system using bus bars for, but not limited to, lighting systems comprising electrical conductors enclosed in an insulating sheath and housed in a trunk or profile provided with means for connecting other elements and equipment for laying. Typically, one or more notches or windows are provided along at least one wall of the busbar frame for tapping current from the customer end, corresponding to each notch or window there is a connector block or socket for connecting an electrical plug. The connector block faces a notch or opening in the trunk wall and has sockets for receiving round or flat pins which must contact corresponding exposed portions of the electrical conductors running through the busbar. [0003] According to a well known and commonly used method of ...
