A server for storing data of a ring tone melody downloaded from a ring tone melody distribution server through a network is disposed. A mobile phone has a memory for storing only one ring tone melody. When there is necessity for the mobile phone to reproduce the ring tone melody, the necessity including occurrence of an incoming call, the mobile phone is connected to the server so as to download the data of the ring tone melody therefrom.
