Embodiment Construction

[0034] Embodiments in which the driving force transmission device, mechanical device, and liquid ejection device of the present invention are embodied in an inkjet printer will be described below with reference to the drawings.

[0035] For the sake of description, up, down, left, and right in the drawings are respectively indicated by the directions indicated by the arrows in the drawings.

[0036] As shown in FIG. 1 , a printer 10 as a liquid ejecting device or mechanical device according to this embodiment includes a box-shaped main body casing 11 . A platen 12 is erected in the lower part of the main body casing 11 along its longitudinal direction, that is, the main scanning direction (the left-right direction in FIG. 1 ). A waste ink tank (not shown) is provided below the platen 12 . The platen 12 is a support table that supports printing paper P as a target object. The platen 12 is driven by the paper feed motor 14 of the paper feed mechanism 13 to feed the printing pa...

Abstract

A drive force transferring device for driving a plurality of driven members having different actuation aims and different actuation ranges comprises a guide screw and at least one moving member. A threaded portion is provided on outer circumference of the guide screw. The guide screw rotates around an axis as a center along the generated drive force. At least one moving member includes a coupling part for coupling with the threaded portion of the guide screw and moves along an axial direction of the guide screw due to the coupling part is guided into the threaded portion while the guide screw is rotating. The moving member connects with the plurality of driven members in a state capable of transferring the drive force generated by the same guide screw while the moving member moves, thereby, the driven members can operate under action of the drive force, respectively.

Description

[0001] technology area [0002] The present invention relates to a driving force transmission device, a mechanical device and a liquid injection device. Background technique [0003] An inkjet printer is widely known as a liquid ejecting device that ejects ink, which is a liquid, onto a target from nozzle openings formed on a nozzle forming surface of a recording head. In such printers, the ink ejected from the nozzle openings of the recording head may remain in the vicinity of the nozzle openings, or bounce off a recording medium such as printing paper, which is the target, and adhere to the nozzle forming surface. [0004] In this way, when ink adheres to the nozzle formation surface, the ejection direction of the ink ejected from the nozzle openings is deviated, or the nozzle openings are clogged, resulting in poor printing. Therefore, as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-30507, such printers generally include, for example, a washing box (flushing box) for accomm...
