Abstract

The horizontal freezer with defrost function includes one cabinet, and compressor, condensator, drying filter, capillary and evaporator connected successively through pipeline in the cabinet. In the pipeline, there is one valve, manual or electric, to short circuiting the condensator, and the valve is connected between the compressor and the condensator and has one end connected through pipe to the evaporator. Normally, the valve is shut off to reach refrigerating aim; and during defrost, the valve is opened to short circuit the condensator and the high temperature compressed refrigerant the compressor exhausts can enter directly to the evaporator for defrosting. The present invention has fast defrosting, and is safe, energy saving, simple and easy in maintenance.
