Benefits of technology

This patented technology works well with plants that have roots called knots on their branches like cows' milkweeds (Cynomorium songum). These crops help protect them from harmful insects such as moth bites during growing periods. They also produce beneficial substances when they grow around certain parts of these crops.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patented text relates to controlling root-feedthrosis bacterial harmful insects on various types of cropping systems like vines or citrus fruits without compromise food safety standards. This requires effective methods against both phytosporoticidium and Nodendritis spirochetes attacks.

Embodiment Construction

[0016] The invention relates to a biocontrol bacterial strain AR156 for preventing and controlling root-knot nematode disease of greenhouse vegetables, which is Bacillus sp. On January 26, 2007, it was deposited in the General Microbiology Center of China Microbiological Culture Collection Management Committee, and the culture preservation number is CGMCC NO.1929.

[0017] The method that biocontrol strain AR156 is used to prepare biocontrol agent is conventional bacterial culture method:

[0018] 1) Inoculate the strain into PDA culture solution and culture at 37°C and 180rpm respectively. After 16 to 20 hours, take samples and measure the OD value at 600nm in the ultra-clean workbench. During the measurement process, use the culture solution without bacteria to adjust to zero;

[0019] 2) When the OD value is between 0.5 and 0.8, add the seed bacteria solution to the PDA culture solution at a volume ratio of 1:100, shake and cultivate at 180 rpm at 37°C for 20 to 24 hours, a...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a biological control strain AR156 for preventing and treating root-knot nematodes of greenhouse vegetable, belonging to plant protection technical field. The bacteria is bacillus sp., which is cultivated in PDA culturing liquor under 37 degree and 180rpm, then is centrifuged 10min under 6000rpm. Picking wet bacteria and bacteria storage liquid is prepared into bacteria agent according to 1:40 (g/ml)proportion. The living bacteria concentration is 1*109-1*1012cfu/ml.The effective rate of the bacteria agent amount to 58-75% for preventing root-knot nematodes of cucumber, towel gourd, tomato etc, and yield increase more than 30-50%. The bacteria agent can also treat wilt, epidemic disease and soil hardening. The bacteria agent can be sprayed, composted and irrigated to root.
