Abstract

The invention is used for increasing the definition of inputted image. Said inputted image is composed of multi pixels; all said pixels are divided into boarder part and background part. The image processing unit comprises a compound operation unit, a sharpening process unit and a boarder detection unit. Said compound operation unit is used for opening and closing the inputted image in order to generate a noise removing image; the sharpening process unit is used for sharpening the imputed image in order to generate a enhanced image; the boarder detection unit is used for receiving the noise removing image and the enhanced image, and deciding the inputted image belongs to the board part or the background part in order to selectively output the grey level value of pixels in the enhanced image or the grey level value of pixels in the noise removing image.
