Abstract

The present inventiondiscloses a method for completing the CRBT intercommunication of the PSTN user and the IMS user. The method contains the following steps: the PSTN user calls and sends the message which has the user information of the call party and the called party to the MGCF; the MGCF calls the IMS user and sends the call request information of the MGCF media to the core network; the core network calls the IMS user and builds the connection with the CRBT server after judging that the IMS user has ordered the CRBT; the CRBT server triggers the CRBT and executes the media negotiation process of the MGCF and the media server and the IMS user; and then the PSTN user listens to the played RBT. With the invention, the PSTN user can listen to the RBT ordered by the called party when calls the IMS user, thereby satisfying practical demand of the user and providing better service to the user.
