Abstract

The invention relates to a video and audio converter with a power line network function, which is applicable to connection with an analogue TV with a power transmission line. The video and audio converter has a first connection part, a decoding and coding unit and a second connection part. The first connection part is connected with the power transmission line loaded with a power signal to which a digital signal is attached. The decoding and coding unit is electrically connected with the first part to receive the power signal and the digital signal attached to the power signal is decoded and encoded to be converted to an analogue signal. The second connection part is electrically connected with the decoding and coding unit and the analogue TV, and thus the analog signal can be received by the decoding and coding unit through the second connection part so as to play video and audio.
