An alarm self positioning and self handling method in a mobile communication network management system relates to the alarm self positioning and self handling in the mobile communication network management system. A monitoring system maintains three tables which respectively store the results of automatic command execution, alarm self positioning and self handling rules and delayed time processing objects. If an alarm net element is not an engineering net element and is not in a non-self handling status such as a busy status and the alarm meets the self handling rules, the alarm is judged to see whether the alarm needs a delayed time processing; if yes, an external polling process handles the alarm, and if no, the alarm is checked for repeated occurrence within a preset time after the self handling; if yes, worksheet processing is carried out, and if no the alarm self handling service is called. The method provided by the invention releases monitoring personnel from simple and repeated manual labor, thereby improving the efficiency of the whole monitoring operation.
