Abstract

Fresh lotus leaves are cut into squares with a side length of 4cm, laid open on a conveyer belt of a 6CW-10E type tea microwave de-enzyming and drying device for being treated with de-enzyming of the lotus leaves, laid for cooling for 20min, put into a 6CR-30 type tea roller for rolling for 20-40min based on a principle of 'light-heavy-light', then the lotus leaves are laid open on the conveyer belt evenly for drying and cooling, crushed through 40 meshes and packaged into tea bags. The production process of the lotus tea provided by the invention adopts microwave technology for de-enzyming and drying the lotus leaves, which greatly shortens the production time of the lotus leaf tea, improves the production efficiency and enhances preservation of flavone substances in the lotus leaves. Water soluble lotus leaf flavone contained in the tea soup of the lotus leaf tea is not less than 0.23mg / g, thereby being capable of reducing serum triglyceride and total cholesterol remarkably and having auxiliary function for reducing blood lipid.
