Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for efficient separation of colored waste toners from other components like magnetic carriers (tones) without burning them down completely. It achieves this through removing unwanted particles while maintaining good image quality. Additionally, there are methods available where tiny small particles called finely ground tires may still exist but they don't require disposal due to their high carbon footprint. These techniques help save resources more efficiently and reduce negative impact on environment caused by combustion processes.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem: Existing methods for treating waste toners involve burning them away at disposalspace facilities without effectively separating different materials like metallics and other chemical elements contained therein. Additionally, existing separation techniques require expensive capital investment and consume significant amounts of time during their lifecycle. There remains room for improvement on how these technologies could help create economically viable solutions for clean up environments caused by excessive waste tonings.

Embodiment Construction

[0016] The present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with specific embodiments, but does not constitute any limitation to the present invention.

[0017] 1. Identification and classification of waste toner

[0018] Waste toner is mainly solid powder with a particle size of 5-13 μm, accounting for about 90% of the total weight. It mainly comes from factories that dismantle waste laser printer imaging cartridges and is collected in the same packaging barrel. , are often mixed products poured out of various types of cartridges. If factories engaged in dismantling can dismantle and collect waste toner by cartridge type, the recycling value of waste toner can be increased.

[0019] (1) Identification method

[0020] (a) The content of sampling and identification includes: according to the packaging label of waste toner, rough classification is carried out according to the original host manufacturer of the waste toner source, for example, the waste...

Abstract

The invention discloses a taxonomic approach for abandoned dry toner and regeneration and using method the same. Reclaimed abandoned dry toner is sorted through sampling measure into three classes whose mean volume-surface diameter are more than 5um, 3-5um and less than 3um, and then sorted abandoned dry toner is regenerated and used. The abandoned dry toner whose particle diameter is more than 5um is prepared into reused dry toner by dry concentration, screen fractionating, dry-cleaning, wire dressing, fine classification, magnetism charging and surface processing, the abandoned dry toner whose particle diameter is in the range of 3-5um is used as filling agent fro preparing general dry toner. The method for preparing reused dry toner from abandoned dry toner incorporating the invention can embody the effect of conservation of energy carbon emission reduction and consumption reducing, also the dry toner with less 3um particle diameter which can not be used for dry toner regeneration in days of old can be used for preparing low-intensity plastics utensil or waterproof oily paste so that it can satisfy the zero emission of solid material during reusing process without burning the abandoned dry toner to prevent environment pollution.
