The hardware of the audio sensor board has the functions of audio codec and AD/DA switching, and is provided with a universal interface which can constitutes an audio sensor node together with a wireless sensor network core-board; by using the method, the audio codec and real-time multihop audio transmission can be realized, and the wireless communication software abides the norms of ZigBee 2006 protocol stack of TI company. The network audio node of a multimedia wireless sensor formed according to the invention can join in ZigBee network dynamically, and the audio real-time multihop long distance transmission can be realized. The invention can be used in the audio transmission or audio remote control and human-computer interaction based on audio identification/synthesis in the fields of environmental detection, rescue robots, humanoid robots, intelligent home, intelligent toys, intelligent traffic, environment monitoring, auto electronics, health supervision, military technology, and the like, and is especially applicable to the application field which supports ZigBee audio transmission.
