Abstract

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for processing multicode assignment. The method comprises receiving a MCW-FLAB1, determining the value of a supplementary field in the MCW-FLAB1 having a MACID of an access terminal according to the SS MAC protocol having supplementary field, determining whether a MCW-FLAB2 having a MACID is received in a same PHY frame, and processing the MCW-FLAB1 in accordance with the value of the supplementary filed and whether the MCW-FLAB2 is received.
