Abstract

The invention relates to a mounting structure of a filter screen of a window-type air conditioner. The mounting structure comprises an indoor panel and an air inlet grille which is connected with the indoor panel and can be opened and closed; the filter screen is positioned in a space formed between an evaporator in the rear of the indoor panel and the air inlet grille; two ends of the inner side of the air inlet grille are respectively provided with parallel fixing grooves; the width of each fixing groove is the same as the thickness of the filter screen; the distance between the undersides of the fixing grooves on two sides is larger than the transverse width of the filter screen; and the filter screen can be inserted into the fixing screen and is matched with the fixing grooves. The filter screen is firmly restricted in the fixing grooves on two ends of the inner side of the air inlet grille and can only move along the direction of the fixing grooves; and when the air inlet grille and the indoor panel are closed, the filter screen is unlikly to fall off from the fixing grooves. When the filter screen is detached, the air inlet grille is only needed to be opened and the filter screen is drawn out from the fixing groove, thereby avoiding hands of an operator from being scratched by a fin of an evaporator when the filter screen is detached.
