Abstract
The invention discloses an electrochemical gas sensor. The sensor mainly comprises a working electrode, a paired electrode, a reference electrode and electrolyte. At least one substrate surface of the electrodes is equipped with an electrochemical active group or a carbon nanotube electrode which is modified by metal nano-particles. The sensor is mainly used for, but is no limited to, the detection of gas with concentration less than 0.1ppm.
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of gas sensors, more specifically, but not limited to, an electrochemical gas sensor with gas detection concentration and resolution lower than 0.1 ppm. Background technique [0002] In the breath detection of diseases such as asthma and liver and kidney function, the concentration and resolution of marker gas molecules such as NO and NH3 are both lower than 0.1ppm. At present, the main detection concentration and resolution of electrochemical or other types of gas sensors are higher than 1ppm. For the detection of gases with a concentration lower than 0.1ppm, it is not only necessary to improve the detection sensitivity, but also to solve the problem that the influence of temperature, humidity, airflow and interfering gases increases with the decrease of concentration. With the help of an automatic device that precisely controls these influencing factors, the patent US20040082872 discloses an instrument that...
