Abstract

The present invention discloses an artificial mouth and a method for testing microphones. The artificial mouth includes a front cover, a loudspeaker, and an acoustic tube. The front cover has a plurality of holes which is coplanar. The loudspeaker generates sound waves which pass through the acoustic tube, and turn into plane waves when arriving at the plurality of holes of the front cover. The process for testing microphone comprises: providing an artificial mouth; locating the microphone and a standard microphone in the plurality of holes; and tuning the loudspeaker to a work frequency less than a cut-off frequency of the acoustic tube.
