An audio compensating device comprises a left input end and a right input end which are respectively used for receiving a left channel sound input signal and a right channel sound input signal that are output by a player. The audio compensating device also comprises a left output end and a right output end which are respectively used for outputting the left channel sound input signal and the right channel sound input signal to an earphone. The audio compensating device further comprises a frequency compensating unit. The frequency compensating unit is coupled between the left and right input ends and the left and right output ends, is used for selecting the low range component of left and right channel sound input signals which are input from the left input end and the right input end, and crossly couples the low range component to the left and right channel sound input signals after amplifying and adjusting amplitude. The audio compensating device can improve the bass effect of soundoutput from the earphone and can be realized with a simple analog circuit.
