Abstract

The method for measuring the receiving channel power comprises the following steps of: receiving a measurement request sent from a first station (STA) to a second station (STA) which is under a dormancy state; providing the measurement request to the second STA when the second STA enters an awakening state from the dormancy state; receiving the measurement report which is sent by the second STA according to the measurement request and sending the measurement report to the first STA. According to the embodiment, an AP sends the measurement request and the measurement report; the awakening STA of the measurement request needs not to be under an awakening state, thus saving the energy of STA, and solving the problem that the STA can not receive the measurement request as the STA requested to be measured is under an electricity-saving mode.
