Abstract

The design comprises that a FPGA unloads SS L handshaking functions of a main processor (for instance, RSA encryption and decryption and key generation) and encryption and decryption and authentication functions of a recording layer so that the CPU can vacate more resources to carry out packet processing, thus increasing the overall performance of the system. The system comprises the application of the safety protocol processor in the SSL gateway.
