Problems solved by technology

As a result, liquid food drips onto the closure, with the flip-top part sticking to the base due to this dried product, and thus becoming difficult to open
Also, if the product drips from the bottle, it will be difficult for the consumer to hold the bottle

[0037] Specific terms are used hereinafter for convenience only and not for limitation. Unless otherwise indicated, any directional terms such as "upper," "lower," and "outer" are used to indicate a direction relative to the closure of the present invention when the closure is in an upright position. This term includes the above words as well as their derivatives and other words of similar import. Referring now to the drawings, like reference numerals designate like or corresponding parts throughout the several views.

[0038] Such as Figure 1-7 As shown, a non-droplet nozzle in the form of a closure 1 comprising an inverted top 2 and a base 3 . In order to open the flip top 2 a tongue 5 is provided along one side of the flip top 2 adjacent to a planar groove 4 formed in the base 3 . The base 3 has a threaded portion for screwing onto the top of a bottle or container with mating threads. The base 3 has ribbed sides 6 for screwing or unscrewing the closure 1 to or from a b...

Abstract

Animal carcasses are disinfected by applying to the surface of the animal carcass an acidified solution of chlorine dioxide. The chlorine dioxide solution should have a pH of about 2-3 and a concentration of 1-100 ppm. The contact time for the solution onto the carcass surface should be from about 5 seconds to about 60 seconds.-(A8) A closure includes a flip-top member including an elongated flange, a base member including a curved flange extending from the base member, and a hinge to connect the flip- top member and the base member. The base member has an opening therein. A portion of the elongated member is configured to reside within the opening when the closure is in a closed position.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of earlier filed US Provisional Patent Application No. 60 / 866,511, filed November 20, 2006, entitled "Dropless Nozzle," the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference. Background technique [0003] A non-droplet nozzle is provided and, more particularly, the invention describes a non-droplet nozzle for use in a container for containing a fluid or liquid and also containing a powder or other material capable of being sprayed through the nozzle . [0004] The pouring nozzle of a liquid container is typically used to provide a smooth flow of fluid through the nozzle and to minimize the nozzle from dripping at the end of the pouring operation. Droplets that form on the nozzle after pouring are undesirable for a number of reasons including wetting and contaminating the exterior of the nozzle and container, and generally causing the surface on which the container rests t...
