Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for driving a hearing aid with directionality and the corresponding hearing aid. The hearing aid is provided with a first microphone (1) which outputs a first microphone signal (R1) and a second microphone (2) that outputs a second microphone signal (R2). The first microphone and the second microphone (1, 2) have different directionalities which are shielded by the difference of the bodies of the hearing aid wearer. The method comprises the steps of: analyzing the frequencies of two microphone signals (R1, R2), and determining the gain which is dependent on the frequency to the output signal of the hearing aid, such as the microphone signal of a third microphone (13) from two microphones signals converted into the frequency domain.
