Abstract
The present invention relates to an optical screen for directing light beams comprising a substrate (11) having a first surface (13) particularly for the inlet of light beams (30) and a second surface (12) particularly for the emission of light beams (30), at least one of the surfaces (12, 13) of the substrate (11) being provided with a plurality of protuberances (14) which extend in a direction perpendicular to the substrate (11) and characterized in that the protuberances (14) consist of revolution solids around an axis (A) whose generatrix is defined by at least a first curvilinear section (16) with a concavity facing the inside of the protuberance (14).
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to an optical screen for directing light beams, said optical screen having a surface with an optimized geometry. Background technique [0002] Known optical screens are characterized by the presence of one or more surfaces consisting of a plurality of refractive elements for directing and in particular collimating light beams. [0003] These screens are widely used to appropriately modify the angular distribution of light intensity produced by sources with wide emission cones. [0004] In particular, these screens are currently widely used in the field of lighting devices based on the use of incandescent light sources and in the field of those lighting devices based on gas discharge sources. [0005] They are generally suitable for use in all lighting fixtures that require an optical system capable of collecting light emitted from one or more sources and redistributing it. [0006] In this context, optical screens for directing ...
