Abstract

The present invention discloses a vehicular automatic transmission with planetary gear mechanisms. Engine braking can be realized at all gears of the vehicular automatic transmission, wherein the vehicular automatic transmission is equipped with a plurality of speed changing units with planetary gear mechanisms. The transmission is equipped with a unidirectional clutch which prevents the rotationof sun gears of planetary gear mechanisms to a direction and the rotation of gear ring of planetary gear mechanisms in a direction. An output shaft rotates with an output rotation speed which is obtained after performing speed changing to the input rotation speed of the input shaft through the planetary gear mechanisms. Furthermore an output shaft rotates a driving wheel of the vehicle and transfers the rotation of the output shaft to the unidirectional clutch of the input shaft when the output rotation speed exceeds the input rotation speed. Additionally, in the vehicular automatic transmission which is equipped with the speed changing units with the planetary gear mechanisms, a transmission mechanism which is equipped with an output introducing-out shaft and a neutral clutch is configured to the output side compactly.
