Abstract

The invention discloses a method for selecting cooperative nodes in a cognitive radio network based on energy and forwarding rate. The method comprises a process of collecting the cooperative request information of unauthorized nodes by authorized nodes, and a process of selecting the cooperative nodes by the authorized nodes, wherein in the process of collecting the cooperative request information of unauthorized nodes by authorized nodes, the authorized nodes screen the cooperative request information according to the residual energies of nodes sending the cooperative request information, thereby being in favor of reducing the rate of DH (dead halt) caused by that the energies of the unauthorized nodes are used up in the process of cooperative transmission; and in the process of selecting the cooperative nodes by the authorized nodes, the authorized nodes screen appropriate unauthorized nodes as the cooperative nodes one by one according to the sizes of cooperative factors of the unauthorized nodes under the interference which can be born by the authorized nodes. The method of the invention can provide an approach how to select cooperative nodes from unauthorized nodes for the authorized nodes in the cognitive radio network. The method can be applied to any cognitive radio network with the cooperative transmission of authorized nodes and unauthorized nodes.
