An integrated bed side step assembly is provided for a pick-up truck having a bed. The integrated bed side step assembly includes a body opening assembly forming one side of the bed and having an opening extending therethrough above a floor of the bed to allow access to an interior of the bed. A remotely activated door-opening mechanism is provided for a cage trap having an animal enclosure, preferably a cage trap as disclosed in U.S. Publ. No. US2008/0115405. The mechanism is mounted outside the enclosure of the trap and is preferably remotely activated by an IR or RF transmitter to open a door of the trap and release a trapped animal when the operator is at a safe distance away. Reusable sleeve closures comprising a flexible thin sleeve of film grade plastic which seals the nozzle of a partially used sealant, mastic or caulk-dispensing cartridge or squeeze tube to substantially retard the hardening of the remaining tube contents. The plastic film provides a vapor barrier against exit of water or organic solvent from the sealant composition, and/or retards diffusion of oxygen that could cause the composition to set. The film is preferably somewhat stretchable and without creep over time, so that the sleeve provides an extremely tight seal for a substantial distance along the nozzle, e.g. film grade polyolefin or polyvinylidene chloride copolymer plastic film. The present invention relates to a stackable container for items, such as food, comprising a base and lid with secure sealing mechanisms. Each of the base and lid comprises corresponding three rims and three edges being mateable to provide multiple layers of sealing mechanisms to ensure durable sealing. The lid further comprises a sealing lip for locking the lid onto the base and for providing another layer of sealing. Each of the base and lid further comprises partially planar raised portions and further raised portion around the outer perimeter of the planar raised portions for providing stable stacking mechanism. The lid further comprises a tab for assisting a user to open the lid without spoilage.

The invention relates to a plastic bag suitable for crushing and dispensing an object, such as medicinal pill. The bag has an open end, is strong enough to withstand crushing forces, and includes a bottom seal that forms an angle of greater than 90° with the sides of the bag. For example, the bottom seal may be curved and concave toward the open end of the bag. The bag may also include a lip near the opening and formed by one of the bag walls. The bag may also include a gripper on any of (1) the interior or exterior surfaces of the lip or (2) the interior or exterior surface of the other wall. The bag may also include an indicator mark, e.g., a colored line near the opening to serve as a visual and/or tactile indicator for the user of the bag.

A carburetor comprising a mixture channel and an air channel that are separated from one another, wherein a fuel opening opens into the mixture channel. A throttle element is rotatable about an axis of rotation that extends transverse of the direction of flow in the mixture channel and in the air channel and extends through both channels. As a function of its position, the throttle element throttles a flow cross-section of the mixture channel and the air channel. The flow cross-section of a portion of the mixture channel and/or of the air channel has a non-circular shape in the vicinity of the throttle element.

A method and apparatus providing an action system for a semi-automatic shotgun including a receiver having an ejection port for expelling an empty cartridge of a fired projectile. The action system includes a bolt attached to a bolt carrier, wherein the bolt and the bolt carrier are movable within the receiver and substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis. A method and apparatus providing an action system for a firearm. The action system includes a primary roller-lock mechanism located rearward of an ejection port. The primary roller-lock mechanism includes a bolt and a first primary roller caged within the bolt. A bolt carrier ramp is attached to a bolt carrier. A barrel extension ramp is attached to a barrel extension. The first primary roller, bolt carrier ramp, and barrel extension ramp cooperate to effectively delay movement of the bolt and bolt carrier in response to firing of the firearm.
