The scanner comprises a first image sensing component, a second image sensing component, a paper feeding mechanism, an electric power receiving interface and a control circuit, wherein the paper feeding mechanism is used for feeding a file through the first image sensing component and the second image sensing component; the electric power receiving interface is used for receiving power; when received electric power is lower than a preset threshold value, the control circuit controls the scanner to scan the first side and the second side of the file in a first mode; and when the received electric power reaches the preset threshold value, the control circuit controls the scanner to scan the first side and the second side of the file in a second mode.
