Abstract

The invention relates to a real-time positioning system of prisons based on RFID and an implementation method thereof. The system comprises RFID base stations, prisoner wrist labels, a communication bus and a positioning management center. The RFID base station and the prisoner wrist labels are communicated in a wireless way through radio-frequency signals, and the RFID base stations are connected with the positioning management center through the communication bus. The implementation method comprises steps as follows: (1) distributed prisoner real-time positioning scheme based on the signal intensity values of the prisoner wrist labels in the RIFD base stations; (2) laying method of the RFID bas stations; (3) moving track of the prisoner is drawn, and the moving speed is computed according to precedence order, signal intensity values and time difference of the prisoner wrist labels read by the RFID base stations; and (4) the prisoner wrist labels are read by special RFID base station to judge whether special incident occurs.
