Abstract

The invention provides a method for data transmission and network-side equipment. The method comprises the followings steps: building a mapping relationship between a first identification of data which are required to transmit in a first retransmission request process and a second identification of data which are required to transmit in a second retransmission request process, wherein the first retransmission request process and the second retransmission request process are located at different layers which are used for transmitting the data, and the layer at which the first retransmission request process is located is higher than the layer at which the second retransmission request process is located; and transmitting the data, and updating the transmitting status information of the data in the first retransmission request process by the second retransmission request process in accordance with the transmitting status of the data and the mapping relationship so as to determine whether the data are retransmitted by the first retransmission request process in accordance with the transmitting status information of the data.
